Community Manager

In order to make sure you get the most out of the community, have a quick read of our tips on how to enjoy the experience with us:

Before you post

  • Search the community to see if a solution already exists
  • You don’t have to be a Thames Water customer to be part of the community, the topic of water goes way beyond just our region!

Share the love

  • No abuse or swearing please, we’re all human
  • If something is good give it ‘kudos’
  • If you received an answer to your question, press ‘accepted solution’ at the bottom of each post to help others find the solution easily

Keep it on topic

  • Use relevant links where needed
  • Everyone loves to have a chat about what’s going on in the world, but try and keep your chat on topic

Safety First

  • We’ll never ask for personal details, so please don’t share any
  • Ridiculing sexuality, religion, race, political values, physical or mental abilities, social status, nationality, etc. will not be tolerated
  • If you spot a trouble-maker, please report the post by clicking ‘Report Inappropriate Content’ in the bottom left of the post, or if you're on a mobile phone tap the flag icon

Customer Service

  • This isn’t a customer service channel. If you need specific customer assistance, you can visit our help and advice section, or contact us

If you break our guidelines or terms and conditions you’ll have our Community Manager and Moderators on your case, and no one wants that
